Our Story
From the wild landscapes of Aotearoa to your table, Tāku is a promise of purity, respect, and connection.
From the wild landscapes of Aotearoa to your table, Tāku is a promise of purity, respect, and connection.
Tāku means “mine” in Māori — a word of belonging, care, and connection.
For us, Tāku is not only about what we make. It is about what we share: honey shaped by Aotearoa, cared for by people, and offered with respect.
Our honey begins in Aotearoa New Zealand, where wild landscapes, native flora, clean air, and seasonal Mānuka bloom create something naturally rare.
For only a short window each year, bees gather nectar from Mānuka flowers. The result is a honey inseparable from place, season, and care.
Tāku honors Māori guardianship and the values of care, hospitality, and stewardship that shape the relationship between people and land.
We believe premium honey should be made with respect — for the land, the bees, the communities, and the customers who bring Tāku into their homes.
